Chocolate Tour

Chocolate is your passion, and you want to learn everything there is to know about cocoa? This tour is perfect for everybody who loves chocolate and is interested in its production.

Departure: 9 am and 2 pm stimated time: 2,5 – 3 hours
Place: Playa Hermosa (4 km north of Uvita)
Requirements: Minimum 2 people. Must like chocolate 

Includes Bilingual guide (English/Spanish), and chocolate drink.

Description

 

This trip is ideal for everybody who wants to learn about the traditional way of making chocolate, explained by a local Costa Rican guide Ronald who is also the owner of the project. 

You will have the opportunity to be part of the process, by helping to peel, grind and cook the cocoa. Additionally, your host will show you some cocoa plants in his garden. Afterward, you will get to enjoy a delicious chocolate drink.

It is recommended to wear closed shoes to walk comfortably through the plantation.
