Description

Departure at 8:30 am from the Platanillo town, just 10km from Playa Dominical. The adventure begins in our customized Toyota 4×4, on the way to the Natural Reserve through the rain forest.

After crossing a bridge over the Barú River we continue on the road discovering several sparkling streams which rise in the reserve. We then leave the car and follow the hiking trail to the Hiding Waterfalls, a close contact experience with the rain forest where you will see the rich biodiversity while swimming in the natural pools under the waterfalls.

Continuing on the road in the 4×4 until the top of the Coast Range – to appreciate the 360-degree view, Punta Dominical, Caño Island, and El Diamante Waterfall are some of the natural jewels that you see on a clear day.

Finally, with the sound of the crystal waters of the creek as background music, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch wrapped in banana leaves.

Departure Time: 8:30 am – Return Time: 12:30 pm
Price: $60 per person
